Twisted Trails

Set in the beautiful Dundurn community pasture (40 mins South of Saskatoon), Twisted Trails runs between sand dunes, along a plateau, and through mixed forest and pastureland. With distances as short as 5 miles and mentors for each distance, it’s a great ride for beginners. With 50 mile and Pioneer rides, it’s great for experienced endurance riders. This is the only time the public gets access to these trails, so come have fun at Twisted Trails. Paddocks are available for rent Sandy trails, so your horse can go barefoot Horse water provided, but no potable water is available Register here: under the discussion tab

Come ride marked trails at your own pace. 5, 13, 25, and 50 mile options. Covid19-friendly event. This event is for everyone who enjoys riding the distance! We welcome new folks, and have the option of pairing you with an experienced Endurance Rider on request. For those who are experienced in Endurance Racing, we’ll have 25 and ~50 mile rides each day. Register for one, two or all 3 days, whatever suits your schedule. For those really hard-core riders, we’re offering a Pioneer Ride option (155 miles over 3 days, same horse and rider each day) 25 and 50 mile rides are AERC and SLR sanctioned. Trails are sandy 2-track through woods, across a plateau and between sand dunes. Terrain is mostly level, should be an easy trail. No matter the distance, the trails are beautiful and you’ll have a great time!

Registration is now open for Twisted Trails!

Please note that each ride is capped at 30 horses, to enable us to maintain physical distancing. Don’t Panic – I can’t imagine we’ll fill up, but wanted to mention it at the start just in case. Stranger things have happened this year. If we fill up, I’ll start a waiting list in case folks who have signed up are unable to come at the last minute.
